Lola is about two months old and I need to know when is the proper time to start leaving her alone at home and what should I give her so she can entertain herself while my boyfriend and I are gone.
Im just a sucker cause I hate to hear her crying, that's why she sleeps right next to our bed... but I know Im doing more harm than actually helping the situation for the transition....

Two months is plenty of time to leave her home alone.
And yes sorry to say but the sleeping next to your bed (right now) is doing more harm than good. Once she's more used to you two being gone then I think it's perfectly fine to allow her to sleep in your room from time to time.
Do you not ever leave her home alone now? Do both of you work? I would find it nearly impossible to make sure someone is ALWAYS there with her.
Maybe you could start with leaving her alone for an hour and a half, go out to lunch, and see how she does. Start off little by little...
As far as to entertain her, chew toys and stuff, are always good but being a dog other than an actual person to stimulate her she will get bored, you just have to be okay with that.
